            Sola Strand Hotel

We're delighted to host Gunnar Myrebøe, Chairman of Ocean Farming AS, as one of three keynote speakers at this year's Forum Safran conference, which brings together professionals from across the project controls and planning sector.

Forum Safran provides the perfect opportunity to grow your professional network and to learn, share and discover through specialist talks, training courses, and seminars.

Following a welcome reception at the Sola Strand Hotel on the evening of 18th October, the forum kicks off the next morning with three successive keynote speeches. Product demos and a variety of talks and seminars from industry experts are delivered throughout the day, on topics ranging from project turnarounds to schedule risk and project planning.

Gunnar Myrebøe will be our second keynote speaker, sharing the story of Ocean Farming and how his experience and expertise informed the project. Ocean Farming is a subsidiary of the SalMar group, a Norwegian fish farm company.

Safran recently collaborated with Ocean Farming, providing project management software and consultancy for the delivery of Ocean Farm 1: the world’s first offshore fish farm.

Before joining Ocean Farming, Myrebøe served as Executive Vice President of Projects Procurement for Statoil ASA. He drew on this experience considerably in leading the fish farm project, which forms the basis of his keynote address at the forum:
