New Continental Shelf Clients for Safran

Wintershall Norge and Teekay join list of Safran's prestigious clients.
Wintershall Norge has chosen Safran Project to plan and manage their project portfolio, including Brage, their first foray into operatorship of a major production platform on the Norwegian continental shelf, and development of the Maria field. Teekay will use Safran Project on the Gina Krog project.
Safran's customers already include the most influential players on the Norwegian continental shelf, with the excitement about the upcoming release of Safran Project 5 generating record interest in the Norwegian company's project management software and services.
Wintershall Norge joins Statoil, ConocoPhillips and Lundin on the ever-growing list of operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf switching to Safran.
Record interest surrounds new flagship product launch
Featuring a fully-integrated schedule risk analysis tool, Safran Project 5 has been designed to give project leadership a deeper understanding of risk and the likelihood of project success.
Øyvind Røberg has led the R&D activity for Safran Project 5. He said, "With project deadlines tighter than ever before, truly understanding the risk in a project schedule has never been more important."
