The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analysing and gathering requirements from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Designing and implementing efficient database solutions using advanced SQL techniques.
• Designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
• Creating intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces for web applications.
• Developing prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate design ideas.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration between UI and backend systems.
• Conducting thorough testing and quality checks to deliver error-free, high-performance solutions.
• Providing technical support and act as a subject matter expert on database and UI design.
  

Required Skills

• Above average skills of SQL (Transact-SQL and PL/SQL).
• Proven experience with SQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning).
• Strong understanding of relational database design principles.
• UI/UX design capabilities for web applications.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Git version control.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Experience with code reuse and unit testing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Norwegian language skills are highly appreciated.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
